Trip to Henry's Ark

Today was a rest day before embarking on W5D1 tomorrow.  The weather was clear and the forecast promised temperatures into the low 70's so we decided to visit a hidden jewel here in Kentucky:  Henry's Ark.   Henry's Ark is located outside of Louisville, about an hour away.  We always enjoy heading out there because 1) it is free, and 2) nearly all of the animals are domesticated and the children can interact closely with them - - you are allowed to feed them . . .with vegetables and crackers you bring with you.  I'm going to post a few pictures from today's trip.

We had a good time.  I also taped a few short videos I am going to post as well.  No running, no fitness . . . . an open-faced prime rib sandwich for lunch and plenty of fun!!!

On to W5D1!!!!
